We have now been in existence for over 20 years have developed a web site, a yahoo group, a blog, a facebook page, and two regular meeting places with plenty of room to play. Currently JAG is at over 20 full members and a number of associate members. We rent a hall located in a church (First Congregational Church of Park Ridge) in Northern Bergen County NJ and also meet at the Time Warp game store. JAG supports most major mid-Atlantic conventions, including Historicon, Fall-IN, Cold Wars, and the World Boardgaming Championships.

The membership are from diverse backgrounds ranging from teachers, computer professionals, police officers, sales persons, managers, self employed entrepreneurs, etc. The club has no gaming dogma and will play anything from historical hex based games, family boardgames to historical, fantasy or Sci-Fi miniatures.

Its quite common to see games played at JAG the coincide with the various seasons. This ranges from Harry's Grand Slam Baseball during baseball season, to Stock Car Championship Racing during racing season, to Race for the White House during the presidential elections. JAG members also participate in similar activities outside of formal club meetings, including fantasy leagues for baseball, football, basketball, and other sports. Of course there is no betting involved in these sports leagues or any games at JAG, but there is a whole lot of pride at stake. So please join us for the fun and feel free to bring the games that interest you, as there will no doubt be others in JAG with similar interests.
